Our One Day Trip to Machu Picchu By Train from Cusco itinerary is ideal for those wanting to visit the lost city of Incas in a day from Cusco. With no sacrifice in time or quality, we offer the best experience as in our two days trip.
Machu Picchu, the renowned lost city of Incas was built by Pachacutec as his royal estate. Unlike most royal estates which are passed down in the line of succession, Machu Picchu was used for 80 years and then abandoned.
The citadel was home to some 750 people. Most of them worked for the royal estate. Farming was the prime occupation here. The Incas built many farming terraces here. These terraces were built in a way to prevent erosion and protect the citadel of Machu Picchu from any landslides.
Machu Picchu Amazon Peru is a fully locally owned tour operator. We have daily departures for this full day tour to visit Machu Picchu.
