The five days Manu National park tour from Cusco unfurls the mystery of the heart of the Peruvian Amazon. Manu National Park is spread over 20,000 sq. km (12,427 sq. mi) and is one of the unmissable attractions in South America.
Home to a wide variety of distinct flora and fauna, this is an ideal place to get closer to the tropical wildlife. In 1977, UNESCO declared Manu National Park as a Biosphere Reserve. In 1987, UNESCO recognised it as a World Heritage Site.
Manu National Park is home to many pristine areas. The wildlife here is so remote that it is inaccessible to people. As a result, the region has not been exploited by loggers, rubber tappers or hunters.
One of the unmissable sites here is the Macaw Clay Lick. As the name suggests, Macaw Clay lick is a process where over a dozen colourful birds (Macaws) fly to lick the clay.
The clay here is known to contain a distinct type of salt which helps Macaws with their digestive system. Our exclusive five days tour to Manu National Park takes you to the Manu Biosphere Reserve and Manu Reserved zone.
On this jungle tour you will get an insight to the life of rural communities who have been calling this place their home for decades.
We are a fully locally owned tour operator. Our dedicated team who manage the tour in Manu National Reserve comprises locals who are born and raised in the region.
As locals from the region, we are dedicated to amazon wildlife conservation. Our guides have an extensive knowledge about the distinct flora and fauna.
