Itinerary

Cusco to Palccoyo Rainbow Mountain Peru Day Tour

Our transport will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco. You have to be ready before 5:00 am. We’ll take the south road from Cusco. We’ll drive through the South Valley. The drive from cusco will take around 2 hours.

Our first stop will be at the town of Checacupe. You’ll enjoy the charming colonial houses, the mainsquare and the central church. They are amazing examples of the Peruvian baroque art. We’ll go a little further to the suspension bridge. This is a colonial bridge that conserves its original design.

Before embarking to the trailhead of our hike. You can use the amenities of the town like toilets. You also can buy snacks.

We’ll drive to the starting point of the trail. The journey to the Palccoyo Rainbow Mountain from Cusco is full of natural beauty. The trail itself is scenic. We’ll hike for less than an hour before arriving at the summit.

At the summit you’ll be able to take pictures and to rest. Explore at your own pace. We’ll also visit the stone forest for more amazing natural phenomena. We’ll go back to the trailhead. This will take about 30 minutes.

This tour includes lunch. After all, we’ll return to Cusco. Our services finish with you arriving safely at your Cusco hotel.
